The towels were mind-blowingly thick and fluffy, and the wifi internet was super! The staff, although not English speakers, were incredibly helpful. The hostel was clean, with a cozy and warm room. The modern bathroom was small but jaw-droppingly clean. Location was convenient, next to a supermarket and bus/train station, and a short walk from the bay.

The room at Hostal Verdemar was cozy and warm, perfect for a vegetarian like me who loves a comfy retreat. I really appreciated the free WiFi, as it allowed me to stay connected and share my vegan food adventures with friends. The private bathroom with complimentary toiletries made me feel pampered, adding a touch of luxury to my stay. The cable TV in the room was a great addition, letting me unwind with some shows after a day exploring Gijon. With a patio, the twin room offered a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the fresh air, especially for a vegan who loves nature. The 24-hour front desk provided excellent service, ensuring that vegans like me always had someone to assist us.
Personally, I found the presence of a private pool less appealing, but I acknowledge that others may enjoy it.

The location was super convenient, close to the bus station and just a short walk to Puerto Deportivo. The staff were really friendly and gave us great recommendations for things to do in Gijon. The best part was the free Wi-Fi in our room, which meant we could stay connected and share all our fun adventures with our friends back home!
One thing we wish was better for young party-goers like us would be some more vibrant nightlife options near the hostel. While there were some bars and restaurants nearby, we were hoping for a more lively atmosphere and some late-night dancing.

I always choose this place for my stay. The staff helped with currency recommendations. It suits me perfectly with Wi-Fi, luggage storage, flat-screen TV, and a lift. The cherry on top is the nearby golf course. A romantic escape that never disappoints.

The location was epic, just a short walk from the beach and the vibrant nightlife of Gijon. We even hit up the Botanic Gardens and it was dope! The staff was super chill, giving us free maps and hooking us up with recommendations for the best spots to party. Plus, the Wi-Fi was on point for all our Instagram updates.
The only thing that could have made our stay even more epic would be if the hostel had a sick rooftop terrace for kickin' back and pre-gaming with our crew. That would've been off the charts!

The beautiful gardens and exotic plants kept our children entertained for hours. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to learn about different types of flora in a fun and interactive way.
My wife says that it would have been even better if there had been a small playground or play area for the kids to enjoy within the hotel premises.

Convenient location near bus station and local attractions. Friendly and helpful staff. Good Wi-Fi connection in the room.
The room was incredibly small and cramped, especially the bathroom. The lack of space made it difficult to move around and shower comfortably.
